Toe Pitch...

So is toe pitch a tool to use for learning toss to hands and walk to hands? Or should toss to hands and walk to hands be mastered first b4 one learn toe pitch?

Training for toss to hands, walk to hands and toe pitch, which is easier to spot?

These are all chicken and egg type of questions, it can be argued in both ways and still make sense.

However statistics nowadays beginning to show that training for toe pitch cause more injury than training for toss to hands and walk to hands.

Which team or individuals that we tried teaching toe pitch to ever mastered it? (mastered means able to at least do toe pitch 2-2-1 and also straight down to toe pitch position.) Alpha? Denvers? Vespers? Ohmers? Unisus? Razers? our own team Aces?

How many have paid the price for tasting the forbidden fruit? Those who did not master it, its still alright. But those that got injured while trying it really paid a huge price for it.

Toe pitch is actually a really advanced stunt, and should be spotted with at least 2 more person together with the 2 bases, while still practicing. Not that I am boasting, but I felt that we currently have the best toe pitch in Singapore. It might seem easy to us, but it does not means that we should go around teaching it.

Personally, it took me 6 months of elevator training, then 1 year of toss to hands training and walk to hands training, b4 we tried doing a toe pitch. Then it took another 1 and a half years of toe pitch practice b4 it was good enough to be used in competitions. Then another 1 year of toe pitch 360 training to be able to do toe pitch 360 and to make straight up toe pitch "free".

If you count the years, you noticed that it adds up to 4 years, the entire timeline I was in cheer for... If you count the number of years b4 I started practicing toe pitch, it is 1 and a half years. Therefore I think from now on, unless the person or team has at least 1 and a half years of experience, we shall not teach them toe pitch anymore.
