Before and after HO 2008

HO 2008 marks the end to a year of cheerleading events in Singapore, and also events in countries affiliated to cheerleading teams in Singapore, such as Thailand, Japan, USA. A year of competions, cheerleading exchanges and workshops held.

I would like to unify the teams in Singapore, even though we are still competitors in our own shores, and talk about our acheivements together as one, one Singapore Cheerleading(SC). Along the way, Singapore Cheerleading made many new friends and brought up the profile and standard of the sport. In the year, Taiwan Monsters(Taiwan Open Champions), Golden bears(Japan Female Champions), Top Gun(USA Open Champions) came and graced our shores. (SC) also renewed alliances with Bangkok and Rangsit University. (SC) also flew over to touch the shores of Thailand, Taiwan, Malaysia and Japan. In the midst we also get to interact with teams from Malaysia, Indonesia, Philipines.

(SC) have really opened our eyes and ears to alot of new experiences, techniques, advices in the past 1 year. We have really progress, I would say far more than we did in the previous 2 years add together, due to the increased overseas exposures.

The next event that we are looking for, and also the biggest, most grand; like the "World Cup" of cheerleading in Singapore, that is Cheerobics 2008. I would like to take Cheerobics as the start of the cheerleading calendar of Singapore, what better way to start then to have Cheerobics.

There you have it, a excitment packed year of cheerleading to always keep us on our toes. So based on the past year, any predictions for the coming year champions???

I hope that no matter who won cheerobics 2008 (obviously I believe that we will win it... haha), we can all come together as Singapore Cheerleading(SC), help each other, share and exchange our knowledge and experiences, so that we can progress further and together as a country, a nation, not only as individual teams in Singapore.
