AAR

We are back from CAIO Japan. Although this time round we got 4th as compared to last year where we got 3rd, the competition was very much tougher with new power houses such as Thailand and USA. Our scores average about 175 compared to last year of about 160, and it was about just 15 points less than team from USA scoring about 190. We also came in 23rd out of 58 teams in all, scoring better than 30 Japanese teams; whereas last year we lost to each and every Japanese team. So overall we were rather happy with our result.

So how do we close the gap of 15 points? I believe that from our current routine, getting 175 or the most 180 is the max alr, to do better, we will need to have much more tumbling; where the whole team does it, better partner stunts; throw in some rewinds and full-ups. I believe this way, we will be able to hit close to the 200 score.

We all know what we need to get a better score, but it is how we are going to achieve it that is the hard part. Juniors Gambette!!
