Appluase for star and giap for their wonderful comment
In life, things r ruled by people perception and how people perceive towards a certain issue are usually influenced by other people's word or so call advise, as long as u say it logically, or it sound logically, people will listen. Bonus point will be added if have good ren yuan like star and giappy. And if you are able to sell your points like a salesman, you score even more.
Beside the attendence problem, G n S had also touch on issues like team harmony, safety, motivation, usuage of correct words and of cos how they felt about the bear sms.
Let me bring up some more points,
1. Respect - respect for yourself, respect for your teammates, respect for yr leaders n coach.
Pointing finger is somehow a natural reaction for most human beings, but rational beings dun point fingers unless something really goes wrong, if you respect yourself, avoid the things to do to prevent pple from pointing you. No one would feel good about themselves.
Spare a thought for the team, and your poor friends in there if you are doing something that will affect the team somehow. Respect your teammates for if not them, you will not be what you are today too. We cant grow alone in cheer, we grow together, if you think certain pple need certain training, motivate them instead of condemming them. Doing the latter wun improve the team at all.
2. Seniority
As much as we are friends in the team, seniority still need to hold when it comes to stunting, i wan to further add on the comments from giap regarding 'dunno think they know' bases. It takes experience to see whos in fault for a grp stunt. If you happen to see a senior around when u doing stunts and it fails, just shutup and see what she or he has to say b4 u start pointing fingers again.
Beside stunting, i would also urge people to show some care and concern for the elderly, some of them had been leaders of this team b4 and mind you, they have dealt with shit much worse than what we are facing now b4. By listening to others who only smells shit and never clear shit, one had clearly shown his stupidility and ignorance and sometimes biasness. Times are different, perhaps, but if situation arent changing ? isnt it the same? Be glad that some shit cleaners are still around. As giap has brought out too, if you think you can clear shit, clear it for us la!
3. Commitment
This has to be the biggest issue of all time. Everyone has different priorities, different abilities and different goals. Star brought out the point of different absorbing rates for study plus other activities, it applies in commitment too. Some pple like cheer but simply cant commit.
Commitment problem has indeed resulted in many conflicts plus many dulaness among us. Uniting our diversity is the only solution, is going to be tiring for the leaders, but please do make an effort.
4. Responsibility
Every one of us in the team has a role to play.
As a member/player, your job is to come for all trainings, be equipped with necessary skills and excel in competitions/performances, you are also required to join in team activities and be as close to the family as possible.
As a commitee member, you are required to do your job on time and do it good. To be frank, this year comm was a lil disappointing with some members not performing and not feeling responsible regarding their portfolio.
As for leaders, team affairs is your responsibility, winning the nationals is yours too as it is thru you all the whole team will be willing to fight and to retain our title. It also your responsibility to set a goal for the club to work towards to.
Be clear of your jobscope, initiatives are always welcome but make sure you do your job in the 1st place.
This blog really look damm shitty now, maybe we just delete all these posts a week later? or keep it here to constantly remind us about what we should or should not do.
